What was once a rural Texas landscape dotted with small towns has now evolved into one large Northeast San Antonio community called the Metrocom. Business development in this area has blossomed in recent years thanks to premiere land, low tax rates, affordable housing, clean water and a large work force, not to mention the prime location along the I-35 Corridor between San Antonio and Austin, where, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), over 200,000 vehicles travel every day. Together, these factors have combined to create an atmosphere of welcome and growth for businesses ranging from retail shops and restaurants, to industrial parks and office buildings.
Business owners interested in taking advantage of the vast economic opportunities in the Metrocom have an abundance of incentives and programs available to assist them. The Northeast Partnership, as well as individual member cities, offer economic development programs to help new businesses open and existing businesses grow and improve. Our cities recognize that businesses enrich and support our communities, as well as provide valuable services to our residents. Because of this, Northeast Partnership members work closely with city leadership to address issues affecting our local business owners, and provide opportunities to help those businesses succeed.
Whether you're opening a brand new business, want to add a location or want to relocate your existing business, there's no better local opportunity than in the Northeast San Antonio Metrocom cities.
